Morning tour sightseeing in La Paz and tour to Moon Valley. We will start our tour visiting the famous Prison of San Pedro, famous for its infrastructure and difference to other jails in the World. We will ride the largest Cableway System of the World from where we can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of La Paz. We will then head to the Moon Valley. The Valley is located 10 km from La Paz and contain impressive formations, composed mainly of clay, created by the persistent erosion of mountains by winds and rain.
Then we will have a look of the newest residential area in La Paz and drive up to Killi Killi view point of (which has a panoramic view of 360° of La Paz). We will visit the Historical Area of La Paz, including Jaen Street which is famous for housing important buildings and museums. Then we will walk to the Murrillo Square, Executive Palace, Legislative Palace and Metropolitan Cathedral Drive to the San Francisco Church and have look inside it. Finally, we will visit the famous Witches´ Market where we will have an understanding of the Andean beliefs and mysticism.

After breakfast we will go to the airport for our flight to Sucre where we will have a 2-night stay. Free afternoon.

Sucre’s pre-Columbian name was Chuquisaca and during the Spanish Empire it was called La Plata. The name Sucre takes over from a great general part of the ranks of Simon Bolivar, famous for leading the independence of several Andean Nations.
Sucre is a picturesque city full with plazas, colonial buildings and whitewashed houses. We will visit the bustling food market, San Francisco Church and the House of Liberty, where Simon Bolivar signed the Independence of Bolivia.

Sucre / Potosí
After breakfast we will drive for about 3 hours to reach Potosi from Sucre. Along the way, enjoy from the beautiful mountains and valleys. Free afternoon.

For centuries, the Villa Imperial de Potosi was the location of the Spanish colonial silver mint. The Cerro Rico is the reason for Potosí’s historical importance since it was the major supply of silver for the Spanish Crown. During our tour, we will be visiting the cloister of San Francisco, the cathedral, the royal mint, and the city’s main attraction; the mine. Potosi’s beautiful buildings and ornate colonial villas remind us that it was once the most affluent city in South America for its silver trade.

After breakfast we will go have a 3-hour drive to reach the Uyuni salt flats.
Formed from the drying up vast prehistoric lakes, Uyuni is arguably Bolivia’s most breath-taking experience. In fact, Uyuni is the site of the world’s largest salt flats and they stretch as far as the eye can see. During the rainy season (November-March) Uyuni transforms into a vast mirror, reflecting the sky. During the dry season (April – October) the salt glistens until the horizon creating a surreal and magical atmosphere.

Today after breakfast, we will visit the Uyuni Salt Flats. We will stop in many different viewpoints for amazing photo opportunities, including Colchani and Ojos del Mar.
