Lima City Tour / Paracas
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, you will embark on a city tour of colonial and modern Lima. This tour includes the main square where the Government Palace, the Cathedral, and the Municipal Palace are found. Also we will have a visit to San Francisco Monastery and Casa Aliaga. Private transfer to Paracas. The ride takes three hours and half.

DAY 3
Ballestas Island
Ballestas Island / Pisco Culinary Experience
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the pier to board your boat and start off your excursion to Ballestas Islands which is also known as the “Little Galapagos”. From the sea we can contemplate “El Candelabro” which is a geoglyph, carved on a hillside on the way to Ballestas islands. In the afternoon have a culinary experience and enrichment knowledge of the Pisco History and of course it’s flavor in a local distillery or hacienda.

DAY 4
Nazca Lines
Nazca Lines / Lima / Arequipa
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, transfer to Pisco airfield to fly over the mysterious and enigmatic Nazca Lines. The Nazca Lines are a collection of giant geoglyphs which are designs or motifs etched into the ground. Created by the ancient Nazca culture, and depicting various plants, animals, and shapes, the 2,000-year-old Nazca Lines can only be fully appreciated when viewed from the air given their massive size. In the afternoon, transfer back to Lima for flight to Arequipa. Arrival in Arequipa and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 5
Arequipa
Arequipa City Tour
Morning off to rest. In the afternoon, we will have a city tour of the most attractive spots of the city and a visit to the Santa Catalina Convent. Built in 1579, the Convent of Santa Catalina de Siena served as a cloister for Dominican nuns from the sixteenth to the eighteenth centuries, and still houses a small religious community today. The convent is an important example of Viceroyal architecture.

Cañón de Colca
Arequipa / Colca Canyon
Breakfast at hotel. Departure for the Colca canyon. Along the way, you will visit La Vicuña’s National Reserve at Pampas Cañahuas and Vizcachani. At Pampas de Torra y Patapampa you will contemplate the wonderful flora and fauna of the region. Arrival to the town of Chivay. Lodging and overnight.

Colca
Colca / Arequipa- Belmond Andean Explorer (Saturday departures only)
Breakfast at hotel. At a pre-arranged hour you will set off for La Cruz Del Condor Mirador where you will admire the incredibly raw beauty of the Colca Canyon and the majestic flight of the Condors soaring high over the canyon. On the way back to Chivay, you will visit the towns of Maca y Yanque with their churches and typical squares. Arrival to Chivay. In the afternoon, return to Arequipa (3 ½ hours) to board the Belmond Andean Explorer.

Lake Titicaca
Sunrise at Lake Titicaca/ Uros & Taquile
Early breakfast on board. Excursion in the highest navigable lake of the world. First you will visit the floating islands of Uros which is inhabited by the old Aymara. These people have kept their traditions and customs generation after generation. Then the journey continues to Taquile Island where you will have the opportunity to appreciate their handicraft and textiles.Private lunch at Collata Beach, Taquile. Dance and artisanal craft displays.

Puno
Sunrise at Marangani / Raqchi / Cusco
Early breakfast on board. The train will make a stop for a tour of Raqchi before continuing to Cusco. Arrival in Cusco – Wanchaq Station. Transfer and check in at the hotel.

DAY 10
Cusco
Cusco City Tour & Four Ruins
Breakfast at hotel. We will begin visiting the Koricancha, a wonderful Ceremonial construction built during the Incas heydays. Afterwards we will visit the Cathedral of Cusco. At the Cathedral visitors may see beautiful old paintings, including the famous painting, of the Last Supper, showing Christ and the apostles about to dine on guinea pig. Later on, we will drive to the northern outskirts of Cusco, towards the Inca building such as Sacsayhuaman.
Here we will walk through huge Inca walls, built with massive rocks weighing up to 130 tons, well fitted, with absolute perfection. Then, we will move onto another important Inca site known as Qenqo, a strange place with subterranean passages, hiding in its interior perfect carved stones where the Incas probably mummify their deads. To finish off our City tour, we will drive further up to visit the Inca Baths of Tambomachay and the military lookout point of Pucapucara. and finally back to Cusco.

DAY 11
Cusco
Sacred Valley of the Incas / VIP Outdoor Lunch Experience
Full-day excursion to Urubamba, the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit the village of Pisac, founded during Colonial times. On Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays the Indians barter their products, and artisans from all over the area sell their woven alpaca wool blankets and ponchos, engraved gourds, antique reproductions and jewellery. On Sundays, it is also the meeting place for the local Mayors of the region, who come dressed in their traditional costumes, to attend morning mass. After buffet lunch, a visit to Ollantaytambo, the only Inca town which is still inhabited. Explore the ruins above Ollantaytambo . After visiting Ollantaytambo, we will continue our trip to Urubamba, capital of the Sacred Valley, where our Hotel is located. (B, L) (SHARED)

Machu Picchu
Machu Picchu
Early breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the train station. Departure for Machu Picchu in a panoramic ride which takes about 2 hours. Arrival to Aguas Calientes. Transfer to the citadel by a bus shuttle service. Guided tour throughout the Sacred Citadel of the Incas. The visit includes the Intihuatana (the Solar Clock) the Watchtower, the Incas Palace, the Three Windows among others.

Cusco
Machu Picchu / Cusco
Breakfast at hotel. Morning free to explore Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain. On the afternoon depart by train back to Cusco.
